Living Lullabies
Two workers lie on a massive bed of watermelons atop a trawler, taking a break from unloading deliveries beside the Buriganga River in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Their labor is grueling, earning only Tk 1 ($0.0091) per watermelon for a meager $7 to $8 a day. Despite the challenges, their brief moments of rest symbolize resilience and determination as they navigate the harsh realities of survival.
